Former UnitedHealthcare executive James Bedard has been tapped to serve as CFO for specialty insurer RVI Group, the Hartford Business Journal reported March 7.
Mr. Bedard most recently served as a mergers and acquisitions lead for UnitedHealthcare, according to the report. He has also served as a divisional CFO.
At RVI Group, Mr. Bedard will help the company manage, scale and evolve its business as well as support its growth into specialty reinsurance, according to the report.
