Six payers are among Fortune's annual list of the World's Most Admired Companies.
The Jan. 31 list analyzed about 1,500 companies, including the 1,000 largest in the U.S. by annual revenue and non-American companies with revenues of $10 billion or higher. The final candidates were then narrowed to the highest-earning per industry, which led to 660 total companies across 29 countries.
Executives at those 660 companies were asked to rate companies within their industry based on nine metrics — companies that ranked in the top half made the list. A Top 50 All-Star list was also published and was derived from asking executives to choose their top 10 most admired companies. More methodology details are available here.
CVS Health was named among the 50 All-Star companies across all industries.
