Cigna's board of directors declared a $1.51 per share cash dividend to be paid March 20.
This reflects an 8% increase from the 2024 quarterly cash dividend of $1.40 per share, according to Cigna's Jan. 30 earnings report. The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record as of March 5.
The Cigna Group saw a 34% decline in profits year over year in 2024 as it faces rising costs within its insurance business, according to its earnings report. Year-end net income was $3.4 billion, down from $5.2 billion in 2023.
