Molina, Instacart partner on food insecurity program in Michigan

Molina Healthcare is partnering with Instacart in Michigan to address food insecurity among expectant mothers.

The partnership will provide 600 of Molina's pregnant members with Instacart+ memberships for 18 months and grocery stipends to improve healthy food access and reduce birth outcome disparities, according to a Nov. 19 news release.

Members will also receive $100 stipends monthly for nine months to use on nutritious foods from retailers on Instacart.

Instacart launched its health division in 2022 and has since partnered with health systems, insurers, and HHS.
