The fund, along with firm Glenview Capital, led an $11 million series A investment in the startup, according to a news release published Oct. 20.

As part of the financing, Emir Sandhu, MD, managing director of Blue Venture Fund, will join Limber Health's board of directors.

The board of directors also includes former Blue Cross Blue Shield Association President Scott Serota, according to Limber Health's website.

The startup, founded in 2019, offers a hybrid model for musculoskeletal care, incorporating digital home exercise therapy, remote monitoring and other technologies.

"MSK continues to be a top focus area for payers and we are excited to partner with Limber Health to address one of the most important problems in healthcare," Dr. Sandhu said in the news release."
